Carbon doxide has been shown to contribute to the loss of human and plant life. I believe that a carbon tax woud greatly reduce the amount of carbon in the atmosphere, leading to less human and plant life being lost.
My first reason is that CO2 poisoning kills a lot everyday and a CO2 tax woud reduce the amount of pepole dying. My second reason is that carbon hurts the envrioment and a corbon tax woud reduce CO2. For my third reason the money genarated could mean that poor families get more social welfare and it lesens the wealth gap.
